55. Delete Facebook- 99 Days Of Freedom

Wow, this video truly makes one think, and admit things we try not to think about in daily life. It’s not about FB, it’s about escaping into social and often fake connections that have little real meaning in life. Instead of living life. If I didn’t have family I might never know about, if I didn’t work in creating digital media, if most of the people I worked with didn’t use FB, I’d really want to do this, and not just at FB, but just about everywhere I “live” online, mostly with total strangers. As for real life, I can count on one hand the people I can connect with, who matter. Think about how often those real people are ignored in favor of online “friends”? Online “living”? Scary shit.

I’m in love with this gif. Everything about it. The rain drizzling. The candle flickering. The colors. I love it.

"Dog carcass in alley this morning, tire tread on burst stomach. This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout ‘Save us!’… and I’ll whisper ‘no.’"
